Process of Manufacturing Cars

Cars are complex machines. A single automobile is made up of a lot of parts that all work together to produce power and move the car. Thus, the process of creating cars is very technical and follows an organized procedure.

Each part of the car is manufactured separately. The chassis for instance is assembled in a different process from the body. In this process, the chassis is welded unto the engine compartment of the car in order to form the insides - "intestines" - of the automobile.

The body, on the other hand, is assembled at another part of the factory. In this process, prefabricated components are welded together in order to form the outer shell of the car. After the work is inspected, the body is then subjected to the painting process.

After painting the body, the electronics and interiors come next. Skilled workers are tasked with installing all the instruments and interior components of the car including the steering wheel, lights, wiring systems for the electronics and many others.

At this point, the body and the chassis are then mated together. The car is almost finished after the two parts are joined together. After this process, the car is given the final touches like putting together all the circuits, installing tires, fitting the windshields, giving it a battery and loaded with gasoline. Once this is done, the only thing remaining now is to start the car and give it a final check to ensure that everything is properly in place. If the product passes quality control, it is then driven to await shipment.
